Campaign - Kaiser Permanente Urgent Care

Too often at Kaiser Permanente facilities members were heading straight to the ER with problems that could easily be treated at Urgent Care. So how can you get people to pay attention to something they don't often (or would rather not) think about? By mixing in a little humor and using relatable scenarios the campaign helped create a significant increase in the number of members heading to the right place for the care they need. After its initial launch at the Los Angeles Medical Center, the success of the campaign led to it being quickly adopted by facilities throughout Southern California.

Results: Unnecessary ER visits lowered by 17%, increased cost savings, improved member satisfaction feedback, and lower wait times.
